    My truck is an 05 model 04 production date has egr and it went bad on prior owner. The valves came out and turbo ate them

    The age twins are problematic I've heard. There is a freeze plug in the rubber crossover tube to stop flow as age went bad I didn't do it but if the went bad or were to stop working I've heard you remove them push them shut reinstall them and leave them unpluged.. So I've Hurd. Mine are welded shut as missing valves lead to a large hole
