2004 fl80. Air brake question.

( just single way, yellow button) now I want to make a tractor out of this truck. So adding the red button and his protection valve. Is that possible with this foot pedal valve?

    Should be. Pretty much all trucks use the same treadle valve. You're just needing to plumb a line in to go to the gladhand.


    This is a very bare-bones, generic breakdown of an FMVSS Schedule 121 braking system. It should give you a very rough idea of how the basic system is connected.

    So 21 would be the trailer protection valve?
