I have a 2005 Columbia and as I was driving down the interstate, I heard the beeping indicators of the Battery Protection System shutting all the auxiliary equipment down. All gauges indicated things were fine. Voltage was reading from 13.9 to 14.2 during the day.

Is there a sensor somewhere that could have gone bad or is this a condition that would indicate a problem to come?

If this is a sensor issue, where is this sensor located?

it is not the sensor, it is the unit, located in pass side sleeper wall))) near the pass. door there is a small door. Unlock it with coin)))) LOL, and you see unit, check voltage at its input terminal and check grounding. Bad connectors may cause the problem

Check directly at the batteries and make sure you are getting a good connection. There should be 2 smaller power wires (with inline fuses) coming directly off of the batteries. 9 times out of 10 I find my LVD problems right here.

As well as a no start situation!
If it ever cranks over but wont fire, check those fuses first.
