First, with Truck off, pump the brake pedal, All the way down, till gauges are at zero. Then loosen it slowly at Compressor, Better safe than sorry. Once you’re sure it’s not under any pressure. ( It shouldn’t be). Continue to remove it.Its not a big deal at all.

If you’re talking about the stainless steel line from the compressor , it ties in, to another Line. A couple wrenches, should come off. I’ve changed them a couple times. Don’t remember anything special about it. Hardest part is getting at it. Might have to crawl underneath, or access it through the shifter boot, from the cab, take a fairing off. I don’t know, you’ll have to figure that out. The only reason they use a stainless line for a few feet, is because of the heat, from compressor.

If it’s a manual, I’d try removing the shifter boot. Other way, is to crawl underneath, and try to sit up between frame and trans.

I am assuming that it is leaking. Do yourself a favor, don't remove it. Just disconnect it, run the new line under the motor to the air dryer. It was save you a major headache
