Guys looking for some help on the air system purging every 10 seconds or less, first heres the background
    2005 International 9900IX with ISX 15 Cummins.
Steps so far. Checked air lines from the governor to the air drier, as well as governor to the the air tanks. No leaks found. Replaced the air drier, replaced the governor and checked air lines across the rest of the truck. No alarming air leaks across the system, just a few bubbles here and there, but nothing I wouldn't think would be cause the system to purge every 10 seconds or less. Just wondering if the next step is to pull the compressor? Definitely not an air system wizard, so any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The old air dryer was a Bendix AD-9, replaced with the equivalent (new not re-built) Fleetrite. The governor is a BEPCO, again new not re-built.

It is probably the unloaders leaking in the compressor. They are built into the head of the compressor, which I think can be replaced on those without pulling the whole compressor.

Status update. Currently waiting for a re-built head for the compressor. With the holiday weekend it won’t be here until next week. Hopefully thats the cure to the problem. Will post again after it’s all back together.

Just a quick update on the air purge problem. After a long break waiting for parts, and some other stuff popping up, finally got back in the shop this morning, and installed the new head for the top of the air compressor. That was the cure for the problem, no constant air purging anymore and everything is working as it should. Thanks for the input!
