New pics. Tires. Steers brand new Firestone FS 590 with Centramatic wheel balancers on both axles. Drives are brand new virgin Aeolus HN 308's with new Monroe shocks and Centramatic wheel balancers on all drive axles.

 

New pics, latest oil analysis report. No contamination, wear metal levels normal. This report shows in three seperate columns the current and 2 previous analysis results.

 

Truck is sold.

 

I have some driving work starting at the end of the month hauling liquid fertilizer for my father-in-law. That work will go until Christmas and after that not too sure but is plenty of local driving work available. I owned the truck I sold outright and didn't owe any money on it so the cash from the sale I'm going to put in a term deposit and save it for a house purchase in the next year or two.

 

I really couldn't see too much of a profitable way to work the truck out of the area I'm in. There's money to be made out west in the oil patch but that's not what I want to do and the rest of the work out there doesn't do much to instill confidence in making a good profit. Buying a trailer and putting my name on the door was about the only way to see a decent profit and even that's not guarenteed!

 

I like tank hauling, I have done it seasonally since 2010 helping my father-in-law with his loads. He just got a brand new Volvo tractor and a new super b trailer set so I get to run that rig. Will be nice!!
