So I have a 05 379 that has a issue and is a pain in my ###! So when I turn on the switch for the headlights and running lights everything comes on as should but the headlights are really dim and the high beam indicator comes on. I still have high beams but the dims are well dim. The headlights are the 4 5.75 inch 359 oem style lights nothing fancy. I have changed out the turn signal switch and the light control module in the dash with no luck. Please help me!

Normally when they do that it's a bad ground. Check your wiring harness around the hood hinges, but could be in the headlight buckets also.

Bad ground sounds right to me also. You win the cigar. Or candy bar of your choice

Do you have some kind of short pigtail running from the back of the headlight to the plug on the main harness? This happened to me once and it turned out I had the wrong pigtail. It had been wired incorrectly.
