Looking at a 2006 Fontaine “elite edition” with apitong wood floors? Trailer is a spread axel with a coil package, was wondering if anyone had any experience with these or reviews on them.

tried searching and can’t find much about them, trailer appears to be in very good shape

I haul local freight, steal beams, coils normally 35/40k or under maybe once a week now if that, aluminum sheets/coil lumber, floor trusss, pavers, mulch

reviews on a 20 year old trailer gonna be widely speculative.

I've got a 2023 Fontaine with the coil package,it's very well built and designed.Im always hauling 40-48k on it.Its designed to haul a 50k coil on the center of the trailer.
It had double coin tires on it when I got it,they wore out after 6 months.I put some Cooper Work Series tires on it,they are supposed to work well on spread axles.
The 2006 is probably good for local work.

I downloaded and printed the Operators Manual for my trailer,a lot of good information in the manual if you can find one.

A lot of those trailers are custom built,so use the Vin and model number to look it up.

I’ll have to look it up, I know it’s got a coil package but it looks like it’s slight in front of the mid point on the trailer, it’s not right down the road I got some good videos of it I’m probably gonna pull the trigger it’s a 2 owner trailer
