    Any comment on 06 freightliner m2 106 manual trans. with 280 hp mercedes engine(505.000 mile). Thank you in advance.

    Hello,I had one with 330 hp mercedes.and allison 3000.What a piece of crap.I had engine replaced a t 26,000 miles.3 egr coolers,3 sets of main bearings,due to coolant contamination.All within 140,000 miles.Stay away!

    Stay away from the mercedes, it's a pos. No power, hard to work on and parts are expensive.
