2007 9200I EGR warning code after turbo failed

    Just blew the turbo on my 07 9200I with a Cummins ISX. New turbo, oil lines, CAC, etc. On test ride engine warning light. EGR valve error code. I was hoping it would clear itself after running awhile, but no such luck. Any suggestions?

    Honestly, I would suggest buying an EGR delete kit and the piggy back computer that pairs to trucks ECM to make it think the EGR system is working perfect. All of that is very easy to do on your CM870 ISX and can be done for less than $1000. That factory EGR system wasn't anything to brag about when it was brand new... and now that it's 10 years old with probably 1 million or more miles, it's gonna be a nightmare trying to keep it alive.
