I have a new to me 2007 Columbia two axle truck.
I drive mostly at night and the low beams are pitiful.
My first plan was to simply replace the bulbs with silverstar ultras. However it didn't take me long to find out that the ultra is not made in a 9006xs. So looking for recommendations on a headlight upgrade. I don't believe LEDs will work as I occasionally cross mountain passes. The truck is far from pretty so I don't care about style just performance. So whats everyone using?
Furthermore my drivers side light needs to be adjusted up but it is currently out of adjustment. I haven't removed it yet and am hoping I can perhaps shim it. Anyone else run into this?
Finally there is a place in the bumper for driving or fog lights that are currently capped off. Does anyone know if the wiring for them is already on the truck or if I add these do I need to wire the whole thing?
Thanks for the help guys I just came home from california and it was a tough trip not being able to see. I want to fix it before the next one

I have a 2007 Columbia and mine seem adequate so I don’t know?
But I am always open to suggestions for upgrades.
Also mine has the holes in the bumper but no fog lights and the wiring is there along with a switch in the dash.BoxCarKidd Thanks this. -
I bought aftermarket projection headlights for my '08 Columbia. Wonderful option. I believe the cost was around $180 or less.

You can install most powerful headlights if they not aimed properly will be no light on the road. Look around how many idiots driving with fog lights, walmart crap LED bars, super bright blue crap and still crying about poor light because they lazy or stupid to adjust headlights or replace dull lenses
