I'm just getting this old girl whipped into shape for hauling, jumping through the authority hoops one or two at a time, and shopping for an ELD, which is a whole 'nother can o' worms. Anyway, I would dearly love to run a dashtop display with a screen or three showing various parameters, or the golden egg would be a tuner like an MM3 to sweeten things up and make her run better. I have my doubts though that a device like this will play nice with an ELD and the Dodge/Cummins ECM. Anybody try this?
Run silent, run deep, but run.
Don
2007 Dodge, 6.7 Cummins, piggyback a tuner or display with ELD?

Looks good and the price is right.... that's just it, I know just enough to be dangerous, lol.
I may have to try it, but it will really suck if I spend the money for a tuner and then can't run with it. Such is life I guess.

Call up one of the shops that sells it. Maybe they will know if it will actually work.?
Used to be a hotshot section on cummins fourm. Haven't looked in a few years, but may still be around. One of them guys might know for certain.?
Someone here may know. Your post is new, a few hours time you may have the exact answer you're seeking. I run a freightliner for a couple years now, so I'm not as up to speed on class 3-5 trucks as I used to be..Lantraxco Thanks this. -
Try this forum. Most of those guys run Rams and will know.

I'll give it a shot! (oooh, bad pun, lol)

I have tried a couple... oddly enough I can't get past the "Cab and chassis" part of the conversation, I do not know what's different about it yet, but apparently they are unicorns when it comes to parts and programming.
Thanks,

Yeah, '07 was the 1st model year where you could get a true C&C. Not just a pickup box delete. The major difference was '07-'12, the C&C got Aisin Seki trans for autos, straight 50ksi frame rails behind the cab, more leaves in the spring pack on 3500's, 52gal fuel tanks, & 6.7L got 305hp, 610tq power ratings regardless of auto 6 or standard 6 trans. That's all I can recall, possibly a few more items..?
So the software or whatever its called, for C&C trucks is going to be different, & less tuning options available now that they are 10-13years old.. -
Pretty well sums it up. The exhaust CAT/DPF are totally different and I believe the EGR cooler and exhaust manifold are different as well, but I have not verified that for my truck yet. Hey, what's life without a little mystery here and there, eh? lolsinglescrewshaker Thanks this.
