No, the MBN was the worst CAT motor ever made. The ACERT is actually a very good engine once you have it tuned.... and the MBN is probably the best engine once you have it tuned (that's what I got)

I would look forther into the dealer with the shaker. They have a decent looking volvo with a 13 speed listed for 33k, if that's your thing.

Gotta remember a 10k truck could have just as many problems as a 80k truck.

I prefer the Columbia,i drive a 07with c-13now for 386k and spend max 8k for repairs(is a 10 auto with clutch)never have a problem with the auto,i pay 11/09-35k for my truck with warranty from a freightlinerdealer in cedar-rapids,mi -was a very good deal for me

I got a B motor Cat in a Freightliner. I put it there. I like the 60 Detroit in them myself. Nice motor.

the 09 389 with 07 isx475 and dpf got .75 mile better then the 05 w9 isx450. both had 18 speeds with 3.55's
