2007 Pete project

I will be going with a kitty! Bsx C-15 cat motor with single turbo. Well paint does look ok but I'm going to paint frame and fenders same color and change from black cherry to jet black.

 

Sorry guys didn't mean for the repeat earlier. Bad cell service!! Well anyway freightshaker I was told that the C-16 won't produce much more power than what had planned on building. Mr Haney will be my lead man on what parts to use.

 

well this info was from a very helpful source on the C-16 vs bsx. I need some used head bolts for a isx cummins or bolt size with thread count if anyone would be generous enough to help with info. This is so i can get that isx out of my truck. i dont want to hook it to timing cover because im afraid it will bust

 

Hey guys come on now help me out on getting my isx motor sold so I can get some movement on this project with pics to follow on all steps from now til the end when i finish.

 

hey Runflat all I have of isx is short block. good crank.rods,one gaulded piston,good timing cover assembly,good bell housing,flywheel,clutch asssembly,and oild pan. its all together just trying to find out head bolt size and thread coont to buy some bolt from store so I can pull it this weekend. I have the isx listed with pics of it in truck in classifieds

 

Sorry Runflat it is a 2007 so it would be an egr motor

 

Hey Freightshaker I might have found a really cheap 6NZ motor and im just waiting for text tonight or call tommorow. If you know anyone with a C-16(7CZ) crank at a good deal let me know. I will build a C-16 or acert for this project it all depends on what falls in my hands and I dont mean free stuff either guys. Im willing to pay prices that are reasonable for anything anyone has that I need.
