2007 Volvo knocking off while sitting

    we have a 2007 volvo 780 and this weekend it just quit running. Changed filters check everything else.. this morning we cranked the truck and husband came in house. Went back out and truck has quit running. He has checked everything that may be problem.. Any suggestions.. need them quickly .. so we can go back to work.

    I'm just guessing maybe the timing or crank sensors. I had that problem before. I hope all works out.

    Codes are MID 130 Sid 231 FMI 14
    Also Mid 128 Engine PPID 119

    Me too, thanks I put some codes down that we just got off truck. It was running and quit again

    Mid 128 Engine PPID 119 Is high coolant temperature
    MID 130 Sid 231 FMI 14 is J1939 communication fault with transmission. What transmission do you have?

    Check for piston cooling sensor. Pull plug check for oil contamination. This would cause erratic oil pressure and coolant readings
