2008 Cat C15 experiences?

    That engine is JUNK if it has a DPF. If you delete the DPF and have the ecm reprogrammed its a AWESOME ENGINE. I was going broke visiting cat dealer at leat once a month with dpf related problems. After delete I have gone 300,000+ with not a single issue!

    I recently bought an 04 387. C15 475. One very meticulous owner that changed oil at 12,000 to13,000 miles. Computer shows 6.5 mpg. 1.4 million and just had two injectors replaced. Most of the drivers runs were from Wisconsin to Oregon and Wisconsin to Texas. No matter what you buy, there are goods and bads. It's my personal use truck, it's heavy load days are over.

    Hello Everyone, I just bought a 2009 Pete with c15 twin turbo and it’s also have the dpf system. My question is should I delete it and gain more hp and fuel mileage?
