My low voltage disconnect keeps going off and shutting everything down in the sleeper.
Battery is at 12.8+ volts when it does this.
I tried running some auxiliary 4 gauge power and grounds directly to the cab electrical inlet but it did not change anything. Voltage is the same as on the batteries at the inlet.
I was going to just jump or bypass the connections and order a new one if I couldn't fix this LVD.
Problem is...its not where it is supposed to be under the middle of the dash.
I have no idea where the module itself is located. Any ideas?
I have already cleaned every single connection on the battery and even put electrical grease on them all when I put the #### thing back together...
I have also crawled all over this truck and can't find a short on a negative or positive.
My particular sleeper control module doesn't seem to have a LVD over-ride built into the menu, or if it is, it is hidden or takes a special combination of keys to disable it.

Call or go to the Volvo Stealership and give them your VIN number and ask them when they look up the part number where approximately is the LVD located at in the illustration of the parts diagram.
The LVD on my 2001 VNL770 is in the middle of the dash under the instrument panel, but yours could've been moved to a different location.Last edited: Dec 30, 2018
