2009 386 Peterbilt problem (Need Help)

    That third tank is probley her wet tank.you have a primary and a secondary air tank, along with a wet tank . The compressor discharges into the wet tank first then from there is fills both primary/secondary tanks.
    If your getting that much oil out of it your compresor is likely bad.
    As far as regeneration goes .must be just a fluke because has nothing to do with it.
    Even if it did, as soon as you start your truck the system would build air up and operate like normal.

    You bet. That double tank is your primary side, wet drains down. Passenger is seconday.

    Yes, like she was get sexual harass at work and where she would make Deliveries at. She's a young beautiful female and she's super friendly. Anyone can go up too her and talk to her. But guys mistake being friendly for something else. They would ask her for her number and ask her for a date and when she says no they would stop talking to her completely, that happens countless time since I known her. It gets too a point where all that gets tiring and annoying.

    We have had a few over the years like that. Ive remember one in particular who happened to be a full on owner operator in our grocery dock once. She come back there to lump but the drivers loved her on sight. Talked sweet to her for a couple hours while THEY carried boxes back and forth. She was empty before long and gone.

    I hate to say it but I bet they will still talk about her to this day. It's one of those things. Im not going to defend the abuse or harrassment but Im going to tell you that female truckers usually push through and do what has to be done to stay the course and they usually do. My spouse had to do it. We were actually had a problem once in Jackson TN when she got into the front side of the TA instead of the side lot across the street like I told her to.

    Intruder followed her to the cab door, was halfway into my house (Cab) aiming to rape her discovered me in the sleeper. I reach a blade and go after him but caught empty air becuase he ran like the wind. We horsed the rig out of there and gone.

    To this day I never knew I was that predatory going after someone like that in my goal to make sure nothing happened to spouse. I hope that never happens again.

    Oh ok I see, the model she gave me was "Peterbuilt model 386 yr 2009 cat engine c-13 model engine"

    The tank that has the oil coming out is the one under the passenger side next to the fuel tank so that's most likely her wet tank and come to think of it she did mention to me a possible air leak somewhere in her system. When she does her air break test she told me she's losing air at a faster rate then normal. The air tanks fills up normal and when she's driving she has no problem with the air tanks.

    Wow that's crazy, that's the exact thing that be happening with her in your first paragraph. They would talk to her nice and sweet while unloading her trailer in hopes of getting her number. It always fail at the end anyways. Smh

    Wow good thing you was in the sleeper, we go some sick people in this world.

    Here is the big update so far ladies and Gents! In the last dealership she had the whole regen system replace which cost her a bunch of money. This time she was at another dealership and they discover a crack hose that leads to the regen system. The air was escaping in the hose before it can reach the system so that's why it wasn't regen properly. They installing a new hose today so let's see in the next couple of days if that was truly the problem.

    If it has oil in the tanks you need to replace the compressor and air dryer then have the shop flush the tanks and lines. I just went thru this but it was coolant so if you don't get it out it's going to gum up everything and may eventually cause you to not build pressure anymore
