I had an 05 w9 with isx. There was a power wire that went from the starter motor to computer. It ran along the frame and had a spot of worn insulation. Copper shorting against the frame.

Took a engine wash to find the problem and fix for free. After 2 months of road calls and tows and $10,000 spent on mechanics.

Are you implying that this sensor can cause that sputtering? Did you experience this with your truck?

It seems that the turbo sputters when I step on it pretty hard. I've already had the egr valve, harness, vpod replaced.

Just quits while I'm running for a half a second then goes normal, it never does it when it's parked only while running down the run

Yeah sounds like a slight hesitation, how many miles on the motor?

Well, have you replaced the EXHAUST BACK PRESSURE sensor? I capitalized that because it's important, then comes the intake manifold air pressure sensor, and the egr differential pressure sensor: these are critical sensors that don't last forever.

If I had to start with one, it would be the exhaust back pressure sensor.

    Ejg018 Thanks this.
