I have this Tripac on my truck now. After installation I changed the serpentine belt, expansion valve, engine isolators and alternator ground cable. Total part's cost was around $130 . Tested it yesterday in AZ. Fantastic performance. Cooling very well and much quit than Carrier. I am happy.

I'd love to find a used tripak but up in Canada not a lot around. Does anybody know of a reseller east of i75 and north of i20? I know about the guy in Missouri but I don't get out there anymore.
    Thanks.

@Elroythekid I gave up trying to chase real cheap deals, so this is a dealer referral. Seems like when I need one none are to be found, or I see them everywhere and don't need them. My local TK dealer usually has used ones a few years old around 5-7k hrs for $6-7,000, installed and out the door with a 30 day warranty. Barely within the boundaries you mentioned, in Doraville GA. Tim Edwards is the salesman to call and ask what they have, and is listed on the contact page I linked. Good folks there, and they service my reefers and apus.

I may be calling him soon, as the one on my truck is about to dissolve into rust. One more less than a few hundred dollar breakdown and I'll probably just junk the whole thing for a newer one. At 12 yrs old and creeping up on 30k hrs, it's a miracle several times over already.

You forgot a stick to prop it up and some staps on top to help hold it in.

And a small fire under the sleeper keeps you warm in the winter.

I changed a/c compressor on my unit. Installed TM16 Valeo compressor instead of TM15. TM16 has little bigger displacement. I can say TM16 is performing better than original TM15.
