2009 Volvo D13 Automatic

Hello I am in search of ANY information pertaining to the following problem we are having
We purchased our Volvo from a really nice guy who has a small trucking company in Albany OR.
He continues to do all maintenance on the truck for us, as he has all the records on it.
ANY time there is an issue he has the answer!
BUT this one is stumping all of us.
Driving down the road truck rides great, the following things have JUST been replaced
Cups replaced just before purchase Dec, 12 2016
Air Leveler (Treat you like your stupid Volvo dealership in Coburg, OR)
ABS sensor (wire rubbed up against frame sent erratic code)
Outside Temperature Sensor (reading 16 degrees and it was 44)
when you pull up to a stop sign on take off it doesn't move, and when it does it lurches or jerks
My Husband is an "ole school" hot rod guy and has always owned Peterbilts, so getting in there with a wrench has been his fix, Computers, well that's why I am typing these questions lol
