OK. I have statement from Volvo dealer . Needs new INJECTORS and CUPS. After 300 000 miles they fail again
Why don't you try the simplest/cheaper option first of replacing the fuel lines as suggested by @KB3MMX ??? You know the dealer will always pick the biggest money option for them
They said too much air coming ftom the engine head, whatever means that. I will try to replace them at local repair shop for much less money. And the owner of repair shop is giving me 1 year warranty . I will speak with him for fuel lines as well. I will give you an update when something is done. Thank you to all who tried to help me.
Your lucky you made to 300k on new cups. I had failures at 35kish and 110kish. Warranty covered the 35k failure.
Dont replace the injectors wast of money and we'll not solve your problem Dealers always play this game You sould know why too much air coming witch is a B.S You either have a fuel pressure issue or intercooler/ turbo line leak
Replaced what...fuel lines & fuel pump.. or injector cups... This was a big debate here....we need specifics.
I would double check the fuel lines...maybe dealer replaced them too and never told ya....since they prolly hit you with a nice fat bill... I never trust those Fahkahs... They aint called "stealerships" for nothing Btw, how much was the final bill?
