    If it's not the vss it sounds like it running low on fuel what does your vacuum gauge on the fuel system say, ?I had a similar problem and found the check valve in front of my primary filter was plugged, someone had put pieces of paper in the fuel tank. This can also cause you to drain 1 tank while leaving the other full. tom

    The truck I'm driving is doing exactly the same as you described, the trucks EGR has been unhooked and new Cummins 600isk motor. Have been having to change fuel filters about every 3 weeks. Did you ever find out a solution for your truck ?
