New to forum. Have a 2011 Freightliner Business Class M2 Flat Bed Tow Truck, not sure exactly which motor but it's a Cummins with 301xxx miles Receiving the following codes: 1209 fmi 4, 6918 fmi 7, 0639 fmi 13, 3224 fmi 4. We're pretty sure the Aftertreatment Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Module is bad, but can't seem to locate one anywhere to replace it.
These codes will clear after the truck sits and cools down, and will stay off unles the truck sits and idles. Yesterday, after the codes cleared the Regen Needed light came on, but I was unable to start the Parked Regen for the life of me. After the truck sitting from midnight until 7am, Regen Needed light turned off but Hot Exhaust light came on. I drove at 65 mph for approximately 20 mins this morning prior to turning the truck in at the end of shift. Coworker said CEL would come on if truck idles for extended period of time but then would turn off after driving. Tonight after idling for approximately 10 mins CEL came on with same codes and has yet to turn off. Boss left it up to me to figure out is wrong and to find a fix. The Exhaust Pressure Sensor that is connected to the Manifold has been replaced, now just trying to locate both sensors the sit on top of the dpf system. All connectors have been cleaned just in case it was a bad connection.
Also when these codes are present, there is NO EXHAUST BREAK.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. If more information is needed, I will get whatever is needed.
Thanks in advance,
Adam
