Dealers don't know the problem. They replace parts until the problem is fixed

Could be the fuel filter the wrong ones they allow too many contaminants to flow through injectors and will eventually mess them up so in the near future if you have injector issues try changing the fuel filter.

Also the fluctuating Rpms could be from the dpf filter, if yu haven't gotten it cooked you should

I recommand you to take time to drove the truck by yourself with a qualified technician with the proper tool already hooked to the truck and road test up to the problem(condition) occur to make the technician know exactly what they should looking for.

If your road speed is steady but the RPM is fluctuating, the clutch is toast and slipping.

Most likely won't have codes and will lack pulling power.

Could be the turbo actuator, the symptoms on mine was a shortly non responsive acceleration pedal while driving, kind of turbo-lag, but got worst after awhile, i was towed once for this issue, but if i remember was showing turbo codes. In 10 years , 1.8 mil miles i replaces the actuator 2 or 3 times in my D13/08 with this problem, and once the whole turbo/actuator assembly, but turbo was not gone. The actuator was about 900$, not a big job you can do it yourself, i saw it at Auto-Zone also. Another problem i had lossing power without codes, and i wasted lots of time in shops throwing new parts, was bad EGR valve. Well, i'm not sure any of this is your isue.

I have a 2011 volvo d13 and everytime I go uphill I get power loss as well as rpm fluctuating and vibrating at the same time. It mostly happens when its on 8th 9th and 10th gear. Did anyone get their truck fixed and what was the problem. thanks
