Afternoon,
Anyone know if these trucks have a marker interrupt switch or button? This truck doesn't have a "smart wheel", just a standard Volvo steering wheel, but I have no clue where to find this function. Any help?
Thanks in advance

On my '01 770, it's on the lower left side of the steering wheel with the hazard & work light buttons.
-
If you have it,it should be on the right side, above the stereo, close to engine brake switch

Yes, you are correct. I was thinking of the headlight interrupt switch.

The Volvo marker interrupt symbol/switch looks like the picture.

Thank you for the replies. I will verify to see if it has it.

Just verified and this truck doesn't have it. Anyone had it installed after and is it difficult/ costly?

Talk to Volvo, probably just buy the switch with the wiring.
How difficult can that be?Oldironfan and G 85 Camaro Thank this. -
The wiring should already be there. Pop the dash panel and you should see a couple of plugs just hanging loose. They will have a white sticker identifying what option they are for. Fin the one for the marker interrupt and plug a switch into it.

Thank you folks for the info, gonna try it out. Another question relating to a switch. Our truck has a switch, non standard spring loaded it seems, that when you hold up, makes an air noise on the right side and when down, an air noise on the left side. Dealer didn't know what it was for, but it sounds like it's releasing air when you engage it, anyone ever had the same type of switch and any idea what it's for?
