2012 4900 wiper "home " position

    I sat for a couple days in a snow storm. When I went to leave I turned on the wipers but they where froze. Before I could get out they started working . The problem is now they are about 1/4 way up the window when they stop. They work perfectly except for that . The range is still good also.
    So my question is , is there any way to reset the position without pulling the moter off to reset the linkage .
    It looks like real fun to get at .

    You need to take the arm off motor, put wipers down manually, and reinstall the arm only way. Don’t take wipers arms off, and reinstall, it won’t work. You’ll get the whole linkage out of alignment.
