Good Morning All,
So I just bought my first rig, old fleet truck it's a 2012 cascadia DD15, 10 speed, nothing special but gets the job done. Last week I went out for my first run and I was leaving West Virginia pulling a mountain and for 3-4 seconds the engine just completely shut off all the power shut off as well. No Power Steering, lights, etc. And then it just came right back on like it never went off and the truck drove fine. The weird part is it did not through any check engine light, no fault codes, nothing.
So since she is still under warranty I take it to Baltimore Freightliner and they waste 6 hours of my time and $150 doing a diagnostic test and find nothing. And I expressed to them that through my research it sounds like the PNDB module going bad and they told me nothing they can do because they cannot find a diagnostic code. So they told me drive until something happened. Which really ticked me off because what's happening is fairly dangerous and if they truck cuts out at the wrong time It can be very costly to me and for me.
But has anyone had any experience with the PNDB module going bad on these trucks and the truck loose power for 3-4 seconds randomly?
