2012 Cascadia randomly shuts off

    On your first picture, that contact solenoid does go bad! I have one sitting on my desk.

    Did you end up replacing the PNDB with a new one yet??

    I checked the solenoid and its good . I guess the board is bad or has bad component. I have replaced the PNDB. just took it from another truck and installed on my truck. Temporarily until I will buy new one.

    Usually the solenoid part is good--but the contacts I usually question. You'll see this like blackish residue on them. But in your case, I wonder what part in the circuit board went bad. Maybe it kept clicking the solenoid causing your power to cut in and out?

    Yes it kept clicking the solenoid causing power to cut in and out. After 20-30 second of doing clicking it stopped and the power gone.
    The circuit board has 2 ICs and I guess one of them is malfunctioning. I am not electronic specialist, hard to say what exact component is failed. I applied 12v to solenoid and it goes back and forward. Opening of this unit gave me knowladge. I am not going to pay $400 to freightliner for my PNDB (A06-75148-011). On ebay I saw A06-75148-001 for $99 and its a same as A06-75148-011. I just need to change the fuses inside... 20170404_094637[1].jpg 20170404_094611[1].jpg

    That's a good close up of the board. Hmm...I can't find anything that looks burnt on the PCB.

    Does anyones chexk engine ligjt come on?
    Mine doesnt,just the mal light...but after a few hrs it will go back to normal and light will go off again...

    But dash says eng001. But once mal light goes off nothing displays anymore

    Any idea why its fiximg its self? If its broke..shouldnt it stay broke?
    I got diag month ago.. No faults...nothing they could do bc everything keeps fixing its self.

    I have copy of diag as well with all the #### that keeps fixing itself.. (i would imagine if they eorked on electrical sustemes...and looked at this diag..even if its fixing itself they should be able to look at the list and say ah...here it is.. You need new ....this.... It rixed its self but that will make this happen
