2012 Cascadia randomly shuts off

It's your cab module. Module is about $400 and is on your firewall. The other (larger one) is your chassis module......$550

 

Opposite. Sam cab (larger) is under glove box. Sam chassis is bolted to driver side fire wall.

 

Mine stopped for 6 months..now it did it again 2x in 3 days.. Yesterday it didn't at all... I wish it wad something brie studio i could jyst pay and fix it.. Mal light Comes on then after couple hrs goes of. Right after restart its like the truck loses the will to climb small hills.. And gets weak then strong weak then strong.. Then after while the problem goes away and im back to normal truck.
Paid 930 to have looked at. They tighten a wire on pdpm i think its called and said that was it.. Went 6 months no problem.. Inlook at exact wire and its tight as ####.. So idk..

I think you have a problem with fuel system.

 

When my truck shuts of it doesn't shut of as if i ran out of fuel. It actually keeps moving.. Cycles through then resumes. Just weaker for a little bit. No check engine light ever.... Erik display eng00 then after while mal light goes away and fault code as well. I had diagnostics done. No active faults but a few inactive ones that fixed them selves.. I would imagine one of those would be the problem

 

bad pndb --> truck shuts off, no power(no headlight, no in cab lights, no instrumentation, no ... like total out of power). it cycles few seconds off-on-off-on-off-on then everything comes to normal. but one beautiful day it will make your truck off power totally ..

 

It doesnt go off on off on. When u start your day and trun key. Thats what it does. Then it resumes where it left off.
I fear one day it will... But without a check engine light...how can they find it without charging 3x the amount bc its electeical. I looked up pndb piece while back i think it said only $400. That would be nice if true.

 

don't pay $400... give me the part number and I will find cheaper source
