2012 DD15 Cascadia fault code help, ENG 1 Fail 31 SPN 3464

    I've got a 2012 Freightliner Cascadia and its giving me a ENG 1 Fail 31 SPN 3464 with the amber engine light on. What should I be looking for to resolve this problem?? How serious of a fault code is it??

    I used to have that same truck/year and it was satan's truck.... always had a problem... if it wasn't dpf, def, or some BS it was something else... before engine took a dump I spent over $16,000 in repairs on the def system alone in 2018....

    that fault 31 spn 3464 is a code to do with intake valve. Could be a filter, fuse, dpf one box, number of things.... it might even need a regen... good luck to you that truck is a mistake..

    The DEF system was canceled when I bought the truck. I'm almost certain it's going to be a stuck throttle body ...I'm going to take it off in the morning. The DEF system kills a truck and put o/o out of business, the truck has to 'breathe' in order to work properly
