2012 Dura-star 4400 aftertreatment problems...

Honestly, the odd NOx sensors and just OEM wiring issues. So far so good. We don't work on DD or Volvos, so no experience to say one way or the other.

 

Egr coolers plugged/leaking
Fuel pump not working properly...
Im Done!

 

I personally would not own one that is out of warranty because of this. One thing after the other.

Tengo un durastar 4300 2012, con motor maxxforce y le cambié la bomba eléctrica porque estaba sucia y lo heche andar y a los segundos se me apagó y ahora ya no prende el tablero y tampoco me da datos, ya revise fusibles cableado y bcm y ya no se que revisar, por si me pueden dar sus comentarios, el porque la falla?

Who do I contact at Navistar/International about this unfixable truck?

 

Call the dealer you have a best relationship with and ask to have your truck looked into by the local warranty rep and see if they can do anything to help you out. In many cases, they supply parts at a discount to help you with a repair. In severe cases they assist in buying the truck back and help get you into a new one. I will warn you, the deals aren't amazing or life changing, but they do try help at least.

 

I’m new to this, where is the doser valve/injector located?

 

Usually right after the turbos, but some engines don't have one and inject fuel direct into the cylinders with the regular fuel injectors on the exhaust stroke.

 

Have you seen ABS and Brake light issues with this as well? Heavyd
