Unfortunately, in every society and culture, there are the "Haves and the have nots".

The have nots (Truckers) will never unite enough to overthrow the haves...

Even if we did, a new minority of the new haves would rise to the top and turn the haves into have nots again.

 

Well pick somewhere to drive to make money. I made 37 first year 47 second year now I start a local job at 52k a year.

 

I think people who drive brand new shiny Mercedes and Ferraris as described by the previous poster make more than $52,000 a year

 

In addition, a person's salary doesn't necessarily define how rich a person really is. I consider myself to be a rich man. I'm blessed with a wonderful wife and family, have good health, thoroughly enjoy my profession, live in one of the most picturesque places I could ever hoped to live in on a beautiful property with a really cool house. I have no debt (except my house payment) and enjoy peace of mind and soul most of the time.

Anyone you work for will be richer than you .. Um, Duh?

If ya make it good in Trucking, then become the owner. I do quite well as an Owner/Op and am setting myself up for old age (no age remarks Joker).
