The Bad is, it's a Freightliner with a Cummins. The Good is, you didn't buy it yet.
-
If its an old us Xpress truck, run away from it. Yhey never take care of their trucks. I have one.
-
Stick with Detroit motors, they just seem to last longer and require less $$$ to keep them running.
-
Ya know, i haven't had much problem with this thing actually. But judging from what i hear of the other old us xpress trucks.. run away quickly.
-
Its not a us express truck. Lol but it does come with a warranty till 600,000 miles am it has 325,000 on it now.

Do some serious checking on it. Idk anything about it so idk what to tell ya. A cummins is a good motor. They're just needy. You gotta treat em like a prized stallion. When they're kept in tip top shape they are, in my opinion, the best motors out there. You wont get the same economy as you would from a Detroit, but its still a good motor. Im getting 6.4 out of mine when i dont idle all night. When i do, 5.5. Fuel is your most important expense, so choose your motor and truck wisely. All in all, good choice. Each and every motor is different though, depending on how it was taken care of.
wistrucker101 Thanks this. -
I'm driving a Penske 2013 Cascadia with the ISX. I like the truck. It runs smooths and has tons of storage space.
Be sure you know how to keep your ISX alive. www.Rawse.comwistrucker101 Thanks this. -

I'm picking up a 2012 with a Cummins this Saturday. Fingers crossed that it serves me well.
