Could it be the ABS module? or the brake control module? How would i test that?

If the ESC is included in the ABS module then it could be the ABS module. If ESC is not included in the ABS module then no. You seem to be looking for something applying brakes which ABS alone can’t do. Traction control and stability control can, but traction control doesn’t affect the steers unless it’s a drive axle. That leaves stability control. It can effect every axle end.

Are your brake lights on all the time?

So the brakes are applying by themselves, and you are getting warning lights in the dash, but no codes?

The only warning light is the yellow triangle plus a “warn engine” text. But this Happens after I try to continue driving. My guess is that the engine is pulling too hard and this causing this light/warning.

shutting off the truck and restarting makes the warning and light go away, but the brakes are locked up. It’s only after 30-40 mins cool down that they release on their own.

It’s at my other mechanic, he is not sure what it is and doesn’t really want to continue replacing parts without more info. I called international dealer near me, they seem to think it’s the brake booster.

truck only has 100k miles. Pretty clean. Only other issue is the power windows and locks don’t work, but there was a couple service bulletin about that.

I brought the truck at an auction, truck was driven 60 miles to the auction location with no issue, sat for 3 weeks before the auction took place. I drove it off the lot and with my #### luck this happened before I made it home.

Something else to look in to, and again just spitballing. 25-30 years ago I had a Ford F-350. Brakes came on just driving down the highway. Power steering pump had gone out.

Ok check and see if the vehicle has a hydro- boost power steering unit. One of the issues with them is brakes self applying. Check for kinked hoses, if none it may be an internal problem.
