I have a frioend with 2 ishift trucks and they work flawlessly, mechanics at the dealer say they have never seen the inside of one, only ever saw 2 fail both under warr (5yrs 500k miles) and both were just replace with new.
That said... There is a dealer with a couple 2011's left over, they ordered 10 for a company loaded 780's leather, etc, cummins and 13 sp 355 rears low pro 22.5's chrome pkg etc. Problem is they are a wierd blue TFX auto haulers blue...they have 2 left, company wouldn't take them as they got ordered without the air ride front axel... They R down to $116 k for the last couple of them.. Very tempting.....

We've had the Ishift over here for many years now, it is a very reliable system
And because it's on a syncro box changes are very smooth and fast , it's like driving an automatic car. There are a few different systems over here but volvos system I'd say is the most advanced

I have a 2012 780 with a cummins ISX. Great fuel mileage and no problem with DEF...yet. 110,000 miles and runs like a caddy!! Quiet, smooth and LOTS of room.

Excellent have you had any issues at all? What kind of loads and weights? And where do you run? How is your MPG?

Load weight varies. Anywhere from 5,000 to 45,000 lbs. Dry van, all states but the north east. I just brought a load from amarillo to dallas and got 6.9 mpg for the trip. I get 7.5-8.3 for light loads, depending on terrain and winds. I had a columbia with a series 60 for 8 years before this. Just wore it out at 1.3 million, sold it a got this volvo. I absolutely love it!!!

Whats really funny is, I love it more for the room than anything else. I leave the table set up on the bottom, and sleep on the top. Its like having a R.V..

Absolutely no issues <knocking on wood>......yet......

    jamesd503 and Elroythekid Thank this.
