Thanks for sharing the video.
I also have to wonder how many injector failures are due to insufficient non-oem filtration.
I know they have learned in common rail pick up truck engines that fuel filtration is critical for longevity of the fuel injection system.
The new standard is a particle size no larger than 5 µm "absolute" many people try to achieve finer levels.
Caterpillar and Donaldson offer 4um absolute filters but I haven't found anything better than 5 µm on the Volvo and it's not clear if that's nominal or absolute!

Hello guys , i read all this post , so I have the same problem truck has heavy vibration , the same problems as you described , so first I checked drivetrain but mechanic told that everything was normal , then he made a injector pressure test and he found that #2 #3 injectors was working only 15% , so is this vibration coming from injectors , or it could be a harness , I don't know what to do , also when I turning on engine brake couple times , this vibration is going out for 15 minutes , then it starts again , this is also what I figured out and I'm tired already of this process , I want this problem to be gone, truck is 2012 Volvo with d13

And what do you think if I change only 2 injectors , not all of them , problem will be solved ?
-
Personally I'd change all of them out.
-
And can you tell me how much will be all 6 injectors , cups , and labor together ?
-
We charge about $3500 parts + labor total. If they have not been changed in the last 2 years, the updated tools used to change cups make all of the difference. They may have finally solved this issue once and for all.
KB3MMX Thanks this. -
I don't know what I'm going to do , this stupid truck already ate my nervous system , when I'm turning on engine brake couple times , the problem is going out for short period and the fuel mileage is again 7.5-7.8 and then when this starts shaking than drops again 5.5-6.0 , I think this sucking air from somewhere , because if it is injectors this problem has to be continiously , but on mine after couple engine brake and the problem is gone , I have no idea what it can be ? Can Volvo dealer check everything and find the problem? Because I have no fault code on the dashboard

Archgeo5 how many miles are on the truck? Does the truck lose prime or have a hard time starting? On hard pulls do the rpm flutter up and down? It sounds like cups but you really should take it to a dealer to get to the bottom of it.
My truck at first it would come and go but once I dropped down to the 4mpg range I took it in to have them replaced to the new stainless steel cups -
I had the same problem, without jake brake issue. One cup was leaking.
Dealer replaced injectors and cups. I think bill was 5500-6000$.
