My fuel pressure's all look good, My desired manifold pressure is 45 And I'm only delivering 32, Any ideas out There
Usually lazy boost is caused from plugged up DPF. If you have a scan tool there, can it read turbo charger 2 outlet pressure or exhaust back pressure along with DPF differential pressure? Max allowable exhaust back pressure is 5 psi and DPFs with more than about 1 psi are considered plugged up. If those pressure look good, then maybe you just need a new air filter, or time to check for air to air leaks.
Did you check fuel pressure by any chance? If your boost pressure is good, you may have fuel delivery issue/s. Any fault codes at all?
Fuel pressures look good, changed fuel filters, it feels like a plugged filter, rings smooth, no smoke, it has an active egr communication code this morning, will egr cause a derate
I believe yes as it is a part of emission stuff. If you have air and fuel and no other codes except for egr communication issue, I'd be leaning towards resolving that very issue first. Did you try to command egr any movement open/close, if so did you succeed or not. Asking this to determine if your egr communication problem is intermediate or continuous.
