Can anyone give me feed back on a 2013 peterbilt 384 w/ a cummins ISL9 paired with automatic Allison 3000HS? Any issues? How it pulls on hills loaded at 80,000 gross? We pull mulch on I-64 going over rolling hills.

An engine that small isn’t going to be much fun at 80k gross.

That Allison 3000 is a medium duty tranny, and that coupled with the ISL that has about 370HP won't hold up for long on heavy duty use. Go with at least a 12-15L engine with a 10-13 behind it,

That truck is a city flatland truck at 50k, keep on looking if you're expecting to gross 80.
Bean Jr. Thanks this.
