2013 VNL 780 fault code MID 136 SID 55 FMI 2

    I have a 2013 VNL 780. Lately I have been getting the MID136 SID 55 FMI 2 fault code for the brake ecu. it goes inactive once the ignition switch is turned off then turned on. What I have discovered is the code means stop lamp defective. Has anyone else had this issue? Looking at putting in a new stop lamp switch as a start. Thanks

    when i got this code it was the switch on the brake pedal itself. just put my finger behind and moved switch, did not come on for another 2 years, then i just fastened it down better, still working 18 months on.

    Was the transmission shaking as well on Reverse or D?

    I have the same code .changed clutch .flywheel .cca,ccv and harness .and still have the truck shaking or hesitating at times .and now i have the code mentioned above ..how did u guys fix it ? Did u put new micro switch ? Or else ?
