2017 388 tri axle rear brake lights will not go out. Brand new chassis node, and going through the wiring now. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Like full brake lights or just on very dim?
Brake lights can get turned on by the brake switch or the application pressure sensor. Both are located up by the rh side of the steering column.

    spsauerland and BoxCarKidd Thank this.

I have a 2015 peterbilt 389 with trailer break lights problem. They stay on but tractor break lights work properly. If I tap on break pedal they come off sometimes. No dirt under pedal. Does anyone know if there's a relay or senor that might control that problem?

Is piston under pedal free in its bore? Hand valve fully released? Check the switch for the trailer brake lights. There is another for the truck.

Is the pedal pivot free? Lift the pedal, if it does not fall back down the pivot pin it is frozen. Next time lift the pedal to see if they go out.

Pedal is free and would you happen to know how the switch looks like?

It looks like that probably was the problem. It did fall back down but it didn't do it at all today. Thanks

    Goodysnap Thanks this.
