2014 Cascada Rattle

Did you ever figured that one out ? Was it exaust flex pipe ?

That rattle may indicate that scr block is moving inside of onebox. Very common issue..
But first check to see that metal cover of 1box's inlet tube is tight enough. When it gets lose it rattles.

 

If it's a inside of the 1box , will doing the bypass of scr resolve the issue.

So here is the update:

I cleared the codes for DPF filters life expectancy reached then did a Parked Regen. For about 25min there was a light blue smoke coming out of exhaust which meant filters needed to be burned but I had no indication lights for this on the dash.

Anyway, I did the parked Regen and the noise went away, zero , quiet but after around 500 miles it came back but not as bad as before. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Also what exactly is making the 1box noise ? Is it the filters ? It's just weird that after Regen noise went away. This also happened to me couple years ago where I had the same issue , but truck asked for Regen , I completed the Regen and noise went away until now.‍♂️
