2014 cummins isx 15 question

What engine do you have in the volvo...? And I guess 14/46 axles.....?

And are the wheelbases between the 2 trucks similar .......?

 

Sorry not up on volvos..... So what would the hp/ torque be....?

 

I have the volvo d16 engine. 13/46 axles I'm a 234 wheel base the star I tested was 244 and my friends is the same as mine but I have set back axle and he's set forward. I've got a 77" bunk, the one I tested was 68" and friends is 53"

 

There is a xe16 80,000 lbs and xe16 140,000lbs. I have the 140,000 which is heavy spec. xe package is a d16 500 horse 2050 torque. 12 speed ishift with economy and power plus mode (economy runs between 1000 and 1500 rpm while power plus runs 1500 to 1900) it comes with 3:21 rear ratio on 24.5 rubber so at highway speed your running 1200 rpm to save fuel.

 

I was loaded following a tri axle log truck one day and I was peaking out to pass because he was going 10 under and he cam on the radio and said "you think your volvo has the parts to pass with super b"? So we chatted and I laughed and found out he was hauling alot less weight of course than I, but also that he had a 475 cat. There was a long hard pull up ahead and we decided to try this out, I put it in p+ mode and gave er snot and he made his kitty purr. 3/4 the way up the hill I was door to door with him.

The old guy said he couldn't bloody believe it. (keep in mind that triaxle was loaded with extra weight as logging can run special weights but still substantially less than I was pulling) we pulled over and he spent the next half hour in awe of what this volvo could do.
