2014 D13 hard start when hot

Kinda odd it only does it when hot. Typical you have the other symptoms and the losing of the pime is the final straw

 

Metal..... Hot and cold engine temps give Expansion/Contraction.

This opens and closes leaks that are minor...... It WILL get worse with time.

When you have this repaired, make sure you have a competent mechanic doing the work.

 

And they need to have the Volvo swaging tool to do the job...

 

Do you loose any coolant?

 

Did you ever figure out what was causing this because my 2019 Volvo is doing the same thing

I've seen independent shops screw them up more than once.

Did you have it done at a Volvo dealer or the local wrench?

 

Volvo in Omaha I’ve had cup problems in the past and I didn’t think that was the problem but they changed them anyway
