    Miles 61,799-57736
    Gross $ $175,997-$159,910
    Fuel $30,229, 8130gallons, $3.73avg-$18,142, 7584gallons, $2.39avg
    Trip to LA 68-59
    Plates & Ins. $8,500-$9,000
    Maint $11,090-$10,373
    Travel Exp. $6,900-$7,600
    My Salary $52,000-$52,0000
    Net $67,278-$62,796
    Gross/mile $2.85-$2.77
    Net/mile $1.09-$1.09
    Cost to run $1.62-$1.68
Just comparing this year to last and was quite surprised how much more we spent on fuel, how much fewer miles were driven and yet our net was almost identical.
Here's hoping for a bigger gross/net for 2016 and even fewer miles.

That is a killer gross/mile you got there. Is there any room for another trucker where you're at, or are you an independent, as I am? you can private message me if you prefer, thanks.

My LA runs are just a single truck operation.
I sent you a lengthy PM but had to delete most of it because it said it was too long. Wouldn't post.

    Ribeye Thanks this.

A truck payment or replacement fund would make a difference ...

Sad thing is most guys don't have a truck replacement fund setup nor do they know what it is.

I will not replace my current truck until someone with a badge and a gun tells me I am no longer welcome in Cali with my truck that is 15 years old.

If and when that happens, I am quite comfortable with my ability to purchase a newer vehicle that will comply with their silly CARB requirements.

But with all the horror stories I've heard from people on here and on the street, I don't see the need to put myself through that kind of torture.

Of course. I'm keeping my 98 but guys don't command a rate to justify being in a position to purchase another if need be

    Bakerman Thanks this.
