Ohh, friend truck; ,i was about to ask if you switched back to Volvo I remember you purchased a used Schneider glider after Volvo; How is running?!
A friend of mine,working here got one from Toronto last year, so far so good.

 

I had my starter replaced about a month or so ago. I knew dang well it was the starter, my local wrench told me it was the starter, but I still paid them an $125 to load test the starter before I dropped $700 on the new one.

It was the starter.

My huge GRIEF with a shop is lets not guess. I was / am a commercial electrician. I never went and started throwing things at problems hoping for the best. I fixed problems.

I have 0 issue paying the money to get the truck fixed, provided it's just that, fixed.

Something like this situation though, that's why people snap.

Nope, he's right. The plastic wire loom wore through the insulation. I see it all the time. I buy the cloth electrical tape from Volvo. It's $35/roll, but it prevents that from happening again. Wrap all harnesses in the cloth tape and put the loom back on.

 

So Volvo should change the way they secure that wire.
