Fan turns on at 185 degrees and turns off at 180. But as soon as it turns off it turn right back on. Constantly running all the time. A/C is not working right now dew to a hole in condenser. I had truck running for 45mins at the end of today's work day and fan never turned off. Is this something to be concerned over?

Yes it's a concern because when the fan is on, it's robbing horsepower and fuel economy from your truck.
It sounds like you need to replace the fan control solenoid.
It's a Cummins, not a Cummings motor.mitrucker, Bean Jr. and Klleetrucking Thank this. -
Ok thanks just saw my mistake on Cummins

Yeah have that looked at. My 16 KW isx15 fan comes on at 205-210 and off at 180-185.

Look at the air line to the fan clutch. It may have a hole rubbed in it in the front of the engine.

Is heater switch in defrost position if so that uses ac which will start fan due to your hole in condensor

I unplugged the sensor on the high side and turned truck off. Then restarted it and clutch unlocked and started working normal again. Turned on at 205 and cut off about 189-200 mark.magoo68 Thanks this.
