This will turn on when the traction control has been turned off. See if you have an "OFF ROAD" or "MUD/SNOW" switch in your dash that is turned on. This will disable your traction control to cause that light to turn on.

Hey @Heavyd ...I got your help on an issue regarding wipers not working. I ended up getting the mechanic to change the motor and the wipers arms. They did troubleshooting and couldn't figure out how to make it work without using a different power source. I'm really confused about the entire thing because. After they changed my alternator, pulley, tensioner and belt. I wasn't getting the proper power from the batteries. Wipers wouldn't work. They took it back and changed the wipers arms and motor . But he told me they had to use a different power source and that the BCM was probably the problem . Because my outside lights wouldn't turn off after shutting the engine off. I had to take the 30Amp resetable breaker/fuse out so they would shut off. They also did a commercial vehicle inspection and had to do some repairs . They changed the break pads and some lights. After they brought it back. My abs light and a break pressure light kept coming on every time I started the truck. If I turned the truck off immediately after and then turned right back on it would go off. Sometimes I'd get an engine light on and other times no engine light. The truck otherwise runs great. That lasted 2 weeks. Last week on Sunday . I started the truck and did the same as usual . Started the truck. Abs light on. Turned the truck off. Started again. Did that 10 times. It wouldn't go off. So I took it back to the mechanic. I had to tow it because I couldn't speed over 40km. After the troubleshooting . They said it's the abs module. I tried replacing it and it's still doing the same thing. I have no money left to keep troubleshooting and replacing parts that aren't the problem. Could you please help me. I've missed a full week of work because of this. I'm screwed. I think the mechanic could be jerking me around. I'm desperate. I spent $5700 with these guys between the alternator, break pads, wipers and the towing and troubleshooting costs. I'm going broke.
    Thanks

You really need to have this truck scanned with Diamond Logic Builder. There could be a number of reasons the wipers don't work. International electronic seem to be really sensitive to voltage problems. I have seen a number of odd problems caused by poor connections at the batteries. Clean all the battery connections and starter connections and the grounds at the top of the firewall on the drivers side. Make sure the connections at the main fuses at the top left of the firewall are all clean and tight as well.

Like mentioned, this needs to be properly scanned with the right software by people who know how to use it and know Internationals. This is your first step. I don't get into bad mouthing shops or other mechanics, but the current shop your truck is at sounds to be making your truck worse, not better. Time to find a new shop. ABS problems do not cause power loss to the engine or speed restrictions. Engine derate codes, usually emissions related cause this. Find a shop with techs who have and know the following; Diamond Logic Builder for the cab computer which runs the wipers. Acom Pro for the ABS if you have Bendix, Meritor ToolBox if you have Wabco. As for the engine, you need Navistar Engine Diagnostics if you have a Navistar engine, Cummins Insite if you have a Cummins.
