I’m having similar issues, but my gauge is reading 12.5V. I just checked my voltage at the alternator with a meter while the truck was running and my alternator is putting out between 11.90-12.06 voltage. So I’d say my alternator is bad?
2015 Prostar voltage issues, fluctuates between 13 and just under 14

Stop wasting your money. As you can see what mine is saying. This truck was brand new when I got it from quality leasing and that’s we’re it as been. When you use the inverter it goes up some. Then goes back down when you not using it. Your truck is just fine don’t let no one take you for a ride.

It was the alternator. Thank God it wasn’t some wiring nightmare. And thank you guys for the responses.
Heavyd Thanks this. -
I have been having same problems with 2015 International Prostar, 7/21 low voltage under 13v, replaced batteries, later replaced starter, alternator and still have problem- low voltage and then automatic truck will not go into gear stuck in neutral. Stop for a while then works and reproduces same: low voltage, not going in gear, time frame 6/21 until 1/28. Still have same problem HELP….

I would perform basic cable cleaning to start with. Clean all your connections at the alternator, starter, firewall grounds, battery, frame grounds and power feeds to the cab at the batteries and firewall mega fuses.

Heavy D, I need your expertise if you wouldn't mind. I've got a 2015 Prostar with N13 and I am in a situation where the truck won't shut off with the key. When I turn the key to the off position, the engine stays running and says there is an electrical fault. I have to dump the clutch in gear for it to shut down. It will crank up without an issue, but just won't turn off. I tried pulling both Ignition relays from the panel and it stays running. I'm out on the road and not sure what could be causing this. Any ideas of what the culprit could be? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sorry I’m just seeing this. Did you ever fix your issue?

Wow! That’s some scary ####. It might just need an ignition switch. Hopefully Heavy chimes in.
