2015 Volvo D13 engine injectors problem

It is a 2016. It has worked out well in the end but was a major headache when it was going on to be sure!

 

No it's a very good engine. The D16 was killed from low demand.

The biggest common problem with D13 is the injectors, that's why they changed the design to common rail now

 

Have the same problem
Truck shaking when accelerating but fun part is that it's running great while engine is cold.
Codes sad that 6th injector is short circuit
My truck drives only 300 thousand miles
Wright now at the dealership bay ( they are opening the valve lid an trying to check that injector! Total dissappointment

 

Oh yeah almost forget my truck burning def almost like diesel.

 

I think it's next to impossible not to get some bio diesel from anywhere nowadays.

 

Running with bad injectors increases the load on the emissions system, no wonder it was going through a bunch of DEF .....

Good thing your getting it fixed before the emissions system is destroyed too..
